For the past three years we’ve been attending the opening day of the Hillsboro International Airshow. We go on opening because it starts at 5pm meaning the sunsets are usually spectacular and it ends with an amazing fireworks show. Once again, it didn’t disappoint even though it was a shortened schedule compared to years past – this year it was on September 28th rather than in late July like it normally is. We parked our chairs right at the front of the mesh fence to get the best spot to watch the planes buzz the runway and set up my tripod for the fireworks show. Here are a few of the images I liked the best from the 800 or so I shot.
